The agreement
This offer is supplied by Yorkshire Digital to UK businesses and self-employed people for business use. By completing Stripe Checkout, you confirm that you are authorised to enter the agreement for the named business and accept these terms.
Price and billing
The agreed one-page website has no separate design or build fee. The managed service costs £49 per month. The first payment is taken at signup and further payments are normally taken on the same date each month through Stripe.
The minimum agreement is 12 months, so the minimum total payment is £588. Domain registration, premium assets, third-party services and separately agreed additions are not included in that figure.
What is included
- Planning, design and development of one custom single-page business website.
- A responsive layout for phones, tablets and larger screens.
- A clear contact action using the agreed phone, email, WhatsApp or enquiry route.
- Basic launch SEO foundations, including page title, description and indexable structure.
- Managed hosting, SSL, routine technical checks and maintenance while the plan remains active.
- Reasonable email support and one minor content amendment per month.
- Two reasonable revision rounds before the first launch.
What is not included
Extra pages, e-commerce, booking systems, CRM features, automatic quoting, custom software, professional copywriting, logo design, photography, paid advertising, ongoing SEO campaigns, business email and third-party subscriptions are not included unless agreed in a separate written quote.
Domain name
The client is responsible for registering and renewing the domain name. Where possible, the domain should remain in an account controlled by the client. Yorkshire Digital will provide reasonable help choosing and connecting the domain. Premium or unusual domain costs must be approved and paid separately.
Client content and timescale
The client must provide accurate business information, service details, contact information, branding, usable photographs and any required legal wording. The client confirms that it owns or has permission to use everything supplied.
Billing begins at signup and is not paused by delays in supplying content, feedback or access. A launch estimate will be given after the completed onboarding brief and usable assets have been received.
Revisions and changes
Two reasonable revision rounds are included before launch. A revision round means one consolidated list of changes that stays within the agreed one-page scope. New sections, changed business direction, further revision rounds and work requested after approval may be quoted separately.
Minimum term and cancellation
The agreement runs for a minimum of 12 monthly payments. You can give notice during month 11 to end the service after the twelfth paid month. After the minimum term, the plan continues at £49 per month and can be ended with one month of written notice by emailing connor@yorkshiredigital.co.uk.
If you ask to end the service before the minimum term finishes, the remaining monthly payments stay due unless Yorkshire Digital agrees otherwise in writing. Ending the website early does not automatically cancel the payment obligation.
What happens when the plan ends
Managed hosting, maintenance and support end when the paid service ends. The website may then be taken offline. Client-supplied content and branding remain the client's property. Yorkshire Digital retains its reusable templates, code, tools and development methods.
If the client wants the website transferred or rebuilt for another hosting provider, the available handover options and any associated work will be quoted separately. The client remains free to use its own business content and domain elsewhere.
Late or failed payments
If a payment fails or remains overdue, Yorkshire Digital may pause new work, support or hosting after reasonable notice. Stripe may retry failed payments using the settings applied to the subscription.
Acceptable use and liability
The website must not be used for unlawful, deceptive, infringing or harmful activity. Yorkshire Digital will take reasonable care when providing the service but cannot guarantee search rankings, enquiry numbers, uninterrupted third-party services or results outside the agreed scope.
Privacy and payment processing
Stripe processes card and billing information. Yorkshire Digital does not store full card details. Onboarding and project information is used to deliver the website and manage the client relationship in accordance with the Privacy Notice.
Changes and written agreements
A separate written proposal or agreement can add to or replace parts of these terms. Yorkshire Digital will not materially change the price, minimum term or included scope for an existing subscription without the client's agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
