A few things
you might be wondering.
Something specific to your shop? Include it in your enquiry and I’ll look at it personally.
Can I keep my existing domain?
Usually, if you control the domain and have access to its settings. I’ll check the current provider, any restrictions and email setup before agreeing the switch. Domain renewal fees are separate.
Can you transfer my products from my existing website?
I’ll review the export options, product data and image permissions first. Migration depends on the current platform. The proposal confirms what can be transferred, any manual work and the product allowance.
Do I need to set up Shopify myself?
I help with the agreed Shopify setup and configuration. You will need to provide business details, choose and pay for your subscription, and complete any account or payment-provider verification.
Can customers choose local delivery?
Local delivery configuration is part of the proposed package. We’ll agree your areas, charges and ordering requirements. Specific delivery-date slots, complex rules or other specialist features may need a paid app or additional work.
Can I add or edit bouquets myself?
Shopify lets you manage your products, images and prices. I’ll show you the agreed product workflow. Changes to the storefront design or custom features may need developer help.
What does the £35/month management fee include?
Small changes to images, titles, copy you write, phone numbers, opening hours and similar details, plus ongoing technical help with your hosting and security setup. Shopify’s platform hosting is covered by your separate Shopify subscription. Larger changes, extensive product uploads, copywriting, advanced SEO, paid apps and custom features may cost extra. Your proposal confirms the support arrangements; updates are not unlimited.
Are payment-processing fees charged?
Yes. Shopify Payments or another payment provider charges separately when customers pay. Rates depend on your plan, provider, payment method and card type; extra Shopify transaction fees may apply with a third-party provider. They are not included in the fixed-cost comparison.
What happens if I want to move my website later?
Shopify is a hosted platform, so moving away may require rebuilding parts of the site. Export options, theme or app licences and the project agreement affect what can be moved. We’ll clarify account access, handover and cancellation terms before work starts.
How long does a florist website take to build?
That depends on the agreed scope, available content, product migration and feedback. I’ll give you a proposed timescale in writing after reviewing your requirements, rather than promise a deadline before seeing the work.
Ready for a florist website that works harder?
No obligation. I’ll personally review your enquiry and get back to you.
