How is the £25-£49 hosting price decided?
I review the site's pages, features, integrations and likely support needs. Simpler sites sit at the lower end; more complex sites may need the higher rate. I'll confirm one exact monthly price in writing before you start. A site that needs substantial custom support receives a separate scope first.
When can I get support?
Email hello@yorkshiredigital.co.uk for support. Requests are handled during working hours, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays, with an initial response target of two working days. Outages are prioritised during those hours. This is a response target; the time to resolve an issue depends on the problem and any outside services involved.
What happens to unused change time?
The 30-minute or 90-minute scheduled allowance renews each month and does not roll over. It covers handling the request, making the change and testing it. If work will exceed the allowance, I'll agree the extra scope and cost with you before starting it.
What is quoted separately?
New pages and functionality, redesigns, major software upgrades, substantial repairs and work outside the agreed plan receive a separate quote. Domain renewals and paid third-party tools are itemised separately too. Occasional small amendments for a site without a content editor stay within the basic support described above.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
Hosting and care plans run monthly with 30 days' notice to cancel. You can ask to change the plan and we'll agree the new scope, price and start date. If you cancel hosting, we'll agree the end date so you can arrange another host. Any migration work and remaining website build payments are separate.
Can you look after a website someone else built?
These plans are designed around websites I build and know. Send an existing website and I'll assess its platform and condition before confirming whether a plan is suitable. Any initial assessment or remedial work will be quoted before it starts.
Are website payments and SEO included?
Website build payments cover the original project and are separate from ongoing hosting and care. Local SEO is an optional £349 monthly service added to your chosen plan. Website Care and Care Plus already include hosting, so you pay the combined total shown above.
Does this change an existing arrangement?
Your current agreed scope and price continue until we agree a change together. If you'd like to move to one of these plans, get in touch and I'll review the site with you.
