Guided customer process
Customers need to make choices or provide detailed information before they can enquire or buy.
Bespoke website development
I build custom tools, portals, configurators and content systems when off-the-shelf software does not fit the way your business works.
I start by understanding the problem and writing down what the first version needs to do. Then I choose the right technology.
Live flagship websiteA bespoke build in practice
For Memorials of Elegance, I built the main website, a custom CMS and an interactive memorial designer that guides customers through their options before they enquire.
This is one of my larger custom builds, but a bespoke project does not need to be this size.

Customers need to make choices or provide detailed information before they can enquire or buy.
You need to manage products, pages or structured information without forcing everything into a standard page editor.
Customers need to configure or personalise a product before asking for a quote.
Customers, staff or partners need to sign in and see the information or actions relevant to them.
Your website and internal systems need to share data so staff are not copying the same information twice.
Your team has its own way of handling work and off-the-shelf software creates more work than it saves.
Scope before software
I start by agreeing the smallest useful version. Before I build it, I set out the screens, content, integrations and who will look after what once it is live.
I price custom features separately and set out what support I provide after launch.
Tell me how the process works now and where it gets stuck. I will help you decide whether custom development makes sense and what the first version should include.
